Step1. Connecting to our server

First you have to connect to our server.
You will receive all information for connecting on your mail after we have activated your account.

Step2. The command

We have configured a standard installation script for installing the prefered software
To install a bouncer you can use the command:

installegg

Stap3. Settings

After starting the installation, the installation will request the following settings:

Bot Name: prefered botname
Alt Botnick: prefered botnick
Real Name: prefered real name
Bot Owner: prefered Ownername
Ip: prefered ip
Port to listen: prefered port
Default Channel: prefered Channel
Default irc server to connect: prefered ircserver

after entering the settings, the installation is completed.


Stap4. Manually editing of the configuration file

It's also possible to edit your configuration file manually.
This is possible using the command:

pico /eggdrop/eggdrop.conf

Stap5. Starting

After saving the configuration file, you can start the eggdrop with the command:

./eggdrop -m eggdrop.conf
